Do I need a consult?
Yes. Everyone must first come in for a consult, unless you are a regular customer who has a deposit held from a previous session. I will not give quotes via email, coming in for a consult shows you're serious.
Will coming in for a consult guarantee an appointment?
No. I think it's important for the artist and the client to be on the same page, if I'm not excited about your tattoo, or feel a creative block with you, I will not book you. Please don't be offended, this means there is another artist out there who is better suited for you.
How long will I have to wait after my consult to get inked?
Current wait time is 1-3 months depending on how flexible your schedule is. However, clients often need to move appointments, so if you have something I'm excited to work on, you will be first in line for any cancelations!
What do I need to know before my tattoo appointment?
-Please do not wear perfume or cologne-
I am very sensitive to it and can get a pretty bad headache. So unless you come in smelling like bacon, please just be clean and perfume free! (yes, deodorant is ok).
-Please leave The Posse at home-
I prefer that you leave your friends, children, and spouses at home when you come for your tattoo session as it's way easier for me to concentrate. Bring someone with you for the consultation if you like. Fact: The Buddy System saves lives.
-Please be punctual-
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment to fill out paperwork. I will do another consultation with you at the beginning of your tattoo session, especially if it has been a while since your initial consult.
-Please give ample notice for rescheduling-
If you cancel last minute, this will result in you losing your deposit if I cannot fill the spot with someone else. I do not check my email on my days off, so the more notice you can give, the better (a couple weeks if possible). I absolutely cannot tattoo you if you are sick - so please reschedule rather than come in.
-Please check your email-
I do NOT send out confirmation emails/calls, and will only contact you if I need to change the date/time of your appointment. I will try to give as much notice as possible, but check your email the day of, just in case I am sick and need to reschedule.
